Here at What’s Brewing? San Antonio Coffee Roasters, you’ll find a small outfit with an incredible history of coffee in San Antonio, TX. We first opened our doors in 1979 when Roger Chbeir began selling coffee beans out of the What’s Brewing? gift shop in the now defunct Central Park Mall. In 1983 Roger purchased his first coffee roaster, a beautiful German Probat UG12 (which we still use to this day) and we’ve been roasting ever since!
Come find freshly roasted, specialty grade coffees from all over the world at our store now located at 138 W Rhapsody by the San Antonio airport. We’re open to the public 6 days a week and we recently began serving coffee at our bar inside the warehouse. Come chat coffee, have a drink, or find out how to use your cool new pourover device or grinder!
While our location and face have changed, our values remain the same almost 40 years later. We remain a family owned micro roaster and our interest is our local fans and customers. We invite our friends and neighbors in San Antonio to come visit us and enjoy the beautiful gift of coffee! Cheers!
Our offerings include light to dark roasts, fair-trade coffees, bird friendly coffees, organic coffees, blended coffees, single origin coffees, decaf, swiss-water processed decafs, and espresso coffees. Check out our store page, call, or visit to find out more.
