Rudy, the talking head, follows the ball with his eyes.
Ed Boon does the voice for Funhouse's Rudy. Ed Boon would eventually go on to co-design the very popular arcade-fighter franchise, Mortal Kombat.
Pat Lawlor's daughter, Cassandra, came up with the name for Funhouse's Rudy.
Up on the Funhouse backglass, is an older fellow holding a child up on his shoulders. The artist, John Youssi, admits that this older fellow is incidentally himself (a self-portrait) and the child in the art, is his son.
Rudy refers to players' individually as Chucky, Spunky, Bucko, or Slick.
