• There are two different versions of Taxi. The first games in production were made with a blonde 'Marilyn' taxi passenger, a likeness of Marilyn Monroe, on the playfield and backglass. This was changed during production to be a darker-haired 'Lola‘ passenger to avoid any kind of legal trouble with the Marilyn Monroe estate.

• The driver on the Taxi backglass has a Special Forces patch on his jacket. Python Anghelo, Taxi's artist, lovingly dedicated this machine to American veterans of the Vietnam War.
